What is the Waypoint Project ? ❋

A waypoint is a reference point that tells a traveler where they are on their journey. Physical landmarks like a unique tree, desert spring, or butte, are all waypoints that have helped humans get to their destination throughout history.

The Waypoint Project exists to provide you landmarks while pursuing inclusive College Ministry. Whether you’re just starting your journey or are a seasoned veteran, we are here to help you catch your bearings and offer prospects for where you might go next.

We believe that if you are working to create space for all people in your ministry, you deserve relevant, insightful, and practical support in your life giving ministry to others.

At Waypoint, we offer reference points for fellow travelers through:

  • We write about the questions that often don’t have easy answers:

    • What should I actually be doing with my time?

    • How do I create meaningful programming?

    • How do I navigate the parts of ministry no one prepared me for?

  • Tools for the actual work of ministry:

    • Planning guides.

    • Small group resources.

    • Retreat materials.

    • Leadership development tools.

    • Ideas you can adapt for your own context.

  • Sometimes you don't need a resource.

You need a conversation partner, someone who can help you think differently about your challenge and offer insights.

Austin offers coaching and brainstorming sessions for college ministry leaders who want to talk shop!
